Google e Norton, mesmo grátis, que segurança é essa que precisa de “upgrade” para retirar cookies? Para mim isto é Norton Security Scam. Ainda bem que eu sei como remover as cookies selectivamente :-).

Mas que vergonha destas duas empresas supostamente com boa reputação de fazerem este tipo de coisas para extrair dinheiro dos utilizadores menos conhecedores.[/lang_pt][lang_en]I reinstalled Windows XP “quick&dirty” in a partition to do some testing, and, because it was included in the Google Desktop, I ended up trying Norton Security Scan as my anti-virus/security suite. Now I have a question for Google and Norton: Dudes, even for free, how can you call this a security suite if I need to upgrade just to remove cookies? I’d call this Norton Security Scam. I am so glad I know how to remove my cookies selectively.

Still, these two companies should be ashamed for doing this kind of bait-and-switch to get money from less knowledgeable users.[/lang_en]

[lang_pt]Eu sou um dos participantes no desenvolvimento do projecto SXEmacs, um “fork” amigável do XEmacs, este um fork não tão amigável do GNU Emacs.

O SXEmacs tem uma equipa pequena, mas com bom espí­rito e com predisposição a fazer coisas novas, o que faz trabalhar no projecto um hobby agradável.

O SXEmacs tem algumas características inovadoras, em particular o suporte para aritmética de precisão variável de forma transparente, supporte para “Foreign Functions Interface” (FFI), caching de compilação de expressões regulares (muito útil para quem usa Gnus), suporte para ficheiros de multimédia (através de vários “engines” como ffmpeg), garbage collection genérica Boehm-Demers-Weiser. Isto são apenas algumas das features.

Quanto a compatibilidade, o SXEmacs é compativel principalmente com XEmacs 21.4. Algumas features ultimas versões quer do GNU Emacs, quer do XEmacs não estão no SXEmacs, mas principalmente vice-versa ;-)[/lang_pt][lang_en]I’m one of the members of the SXEmacs project, an amicable “fork” of XEmacs (a not so friendly fork of GNU Emacs).
